The hotel room for our (Adam, Kiwi and I) trip to Florida has officially been booked. We will be spending next weekend in Ft. Walton Beach, which is part of northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast (Destin and Okaloosa Island are the other two areas of the Emerald Coast).
We will be making the 10 hour drive from north Mississippi to Florida next Wednesday evening and should arrive early Thursday morning. Adam’s grandmother lives about an hour from Ft. Walton Beach, so I think we will stay there and visit for the day.
After that, its nothing but white sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. The mini-vacation will be very much welcomed after doing so much work on the website as of late. I’m looking forward to doing absolutely nothing….well, besides getting some photography in
